After hot-dip galvanising, the treated material occasionally needs minor touch-ups due to small defects in the cover or as a result of abrasions during assembly on-site.
Sometimes, however, we are faced with extensive surfaces that are not hot-dip galvanized. They need protecting with a zinc powder coating.
To solve these issues, Soprin has developed a paint containing metallic zinc powder in flake form that can be applied either by brush for small areas, or by spraying for larger surfaces.
THE ADVANTAGES OF USING ZINCO LIQUIDO
- The product contains zinc flake powder for optimal cathodic protection;
- You can apply it with a brush;
- It can be sprayed without the need for dilution;
- It dries quickly;
- The colour tone is very similar to that of hot-dip galvanising;
- The can is resealable to avoid product waste after the first opening;
- It is non-drip during application (for both brush and spray);
- It can be applied on both smooth and rough surfaces;
- It is an excellent primer for subsequent liquid and powder coatings;
- The product meets the specifications of DIN EN ISO 3549 (table 1 and 2) and ASTM D520 (table 1 — type II and III).
